It’s not a boast when we say we’re Dharamkot’s first and highest hostel, which pretty much explains why choose us over the others. Nestled in the lap of the Dhauladhars is our first hostel in the quaint mountain village of Dharamkot, The Bunker Dharamkot. Created with a lot of love and passion, the hostel has been home to hundreds of travellers who have all left their mark somewhere or the other. Set amidst towering pine forests, The Bunker Dharamkot offers unparalleled views of McLeodganj and Dharamsala. Our spacious theme based rooms and dorms, the cosy café, warm fuzzy cuddles by a bunch of doggos and lip smacking food will hook you up like none. Brew up some stories by the bonfire as you connect with like minded travellers at The Bunker. More of an experience than a Stay! An absolute home feeling away from home! Extremely accommodating and the hosts were just the sweetest and the most helpful guys in Mcleod! And they make lovely Pancakes with campfires, music and co-guests.
I was traveling alone and wanted some peace and quiet. I found it, and I found one of the most active hostel common rooms I’ve ever seen full of super chill people. It’s not too far from town and not too far from an amazing waterfall. The food is delicious and the staff is AMAZING!! Loved it so much, I will have to go back.
Honestly the best backpackers place I have been too, I can write tales of amaaaazing times I have had there. A must go if you want a true backpacking experience. I would love to give it 10 stars out of 5.
The vibe is amazing, staff – VERY helpful and friendly young guys. Rooftop common area is cosy & with good music. Very tasty food at the rooftop cafe. Lovely fire yard on the territory. Good location far away from the city noise. Single room is very spacious with two floors. Hot water running well.
Feels like a better home! As friendly as it gets, you’ll feel totally at ease with the lovely staff, the other travelers and the two dogs. You will be served tasty homemade recipes. Book a spot and don’t forget to bring your creative soul for check-in: you’ll find other artists and musicians to jam with and share inspiration. Must go!
